15) Quote

The quote function gives a detailed quotation, and allows you to search for ticker symbols using a word or phrase. Clicking on the Quote button (or choosing the "Quote" option in the "File" Menu) creates a new window, giving a detailed quotation for the company or index displayed in the chart window. Both price/volume and fundamental information is provided. Price/Volume: Last, Change, Time, Volume, High, Low, Prev. Close, Open, Bid, Ask, Bid size, and Ask size. Fundamental: Year High, Year Low, EPS, P/E, Dividend, Shares Outstanding, Market Capitalization To get a quote for another symbol, enter the symbol in the text box at the top of the quote window, and either hit "Enter" on the keyboard or click "Submit" at the bottom of the window. To search for a company or index's ticker symbol, click on "Ticker Search" at the bottom of the window. Enter a word or phrase into the resulting window and "Enter" on the keyboard or click "Search". The results will be listed alphabetically by ticker symbol. Only the first 30 results will be displayed. Click on any of the results to change the chart displayed in the chart window. To close the Ticker Search or Quote windows, click on the "Close" button.
